Super Bulky Maine Jacob Handspun

This super lofty yarn is made in my apartment studio in South Portland, Maine, from Jacob wool raised on a farm in central Maine. Jacob sheep are wonderfully spotted, and their wool creates a wonderfully spotted yarn. Because of the individual nature of each sheep, some skeins may have more warm grey tones, rather than black. 1 skein is enough to create a small project, such as a hat or small cowl. Every effort has been made to remove VM from the final yarn, but because the wool was sourced from an individual farm, a very slight amount may be present. Every skein has been rinsed in unscented lanolin soak before shipping.
